Written by Bobby RussellVicki Lawrence - "Funny Girl" - Track 7 from 1974's "Ships in the Night" LP. This was the third 45 released from the album. The B-Side was "It Could Have Been Me" from the "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" LP. Some argue that "Funny Girl" was Side-B and "It Could Have Been Me" was played by DJs as the featured track. However, "It Could Have Been Me" had already been a successful single for another singer in Australia by the time "Funny Girl" was released. This was the third single released, following 45 "Ships in the Night" and "Mama's Gonna Make It All Better."
